The astonishing UFO claim follows reports of an unidentified flying object appearing over the State of Trujillo, Venezuela. The supposed UFO is believed to have first been observed on February 16 this year by local resident Friman Rodriguez. Mr Rodriguez described a bright orange light dashing across the sky in a zig-zag pattern in the afternoon hours. According to the blog Inexplicata – The Journal of Hispanic UFOlogy, the UFO’s arrival coincided with a local power blackout.
Mr Rodriguez also told reporter Hector Escalante it was an impossibly hot day when the UFO arrived and the eye-witness claimed he suffered a “painful headache” during the encounter.
Pictures of the alien object, taken from afar, show a rectangular streak of bright orange light.
Mr Rodriguez, who saw the UFO with his cousin, photographed the light with his cellphone.
The photos have since been analysed by prominent UFOlogist Scott C Waring who runs the blog UFO Sightings Daily.
Mr Waring has bizarrely claimed the UFO is of a kind belonging to a “godlike” species of extraterrestrials.
He said: “This type of UFO has been seen in South America several times.
“When close to the craft it will appear as a bright orange light, too bright to make out any detail, but if it’s high enough in the sky it can easily be mistaken as the Sun during a sunset.
“This particular craft is flown by an alien species that is almost godlike.
“They came in hopes of preventing a horrible future for humanity and have constantly come back to abduct people and then teach them about how humanity has several possible endings looming very close in time.”
According to the UFO expert, the aliens come to interact with and teach humans.
However, he noted Mr Rodriguez and his cousin were “too frightened” for the aliens to properly approach them.
In the initial UFO report, the alleged spaceship appeared over La Puerta in the Municipality of Valera.
Mr Rodriguez was quoted saying: “I didn’t pay much attention at first, thinking it was a reflection of the Sun, but suddenly I realised that the Sun was to the left, and much farther below.”
The UFO witness also said he felt fortunate for being able to experience the incredible sighting.
According to Inexplicata, similar UFO sightings in Venezuela are typically reported in areas rife with water and vegetation.
Another recent UFO sighting was reported over the La Lorena in the state of Bolivar, where witnesses are said to have seen bizarre light displays in the sky.
The UFO expert made the bizarre claim after he came across a photo taken by one of NASA’s Lunar Orbiters from the 1960s.
He said: “This is an entire city area of about 20 miles across.
“I have never seen this one before but its complexity and beauty is absolutely breathtaking.”
