Travis and Jason Kelce are revealing the most “electric” Super Bowl national anthem!
Appearing on a new episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, released Thursday, Feb. 6, the brothers revealed their favorite musician to belt out the national anthem at previous Super Bowl games.
Sunday’s big game will see Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs, and Jason’s former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, compete for the Vince Lombardi trophy in New Orleans.
“What’s the most electric national anthem?,” Jason, 37, first asked.
“You already know, it’s Chris Stapleton. On a sad day, I will put that video on. I’ll go to YouTube,” Travis, 35, said of the singer’s 2023 rendition of the anthem.
Making light of the fact that the Chiefs beat the Eagles that year, Jason joked, “Just to watch me and [coach] Nick Sirianni cry and then revel at the fact that you beat us?”

“I never looked at it like that,” Travis replied lightheartedly. “[Chiefs player] Chris Jones cried too, to be fair.”
The tight end continued, “I cried, but I kept my composure. But more so Chris did his thing, one of my favorite performances ever.”
“Yeah. It was very electric,” Jason agreed.
During Stapleton’s 2023 performance, the musician, 46, sang and played the guitar at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., while actor Troy Kotsur performed sign language.
Travis also expressed his excitement for this week’s upcoming game.
“I am so fired up for this game, I love it,” he shared. “You know, I relish in these moments, man. I’ve been waiting all year to fast-forward to this game, man.”
Travis could help the Chiefs make history Sunday as the team goes for a third Super Bowl title in a row, which would make them the first team to do so.
The Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 25-22 last year; the Eagles with a score of 38-35 in 2023 and the San Francisco 49ers again in 2020.
However, the Chiefs lost 31-9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021.
