Serena Williams is currently suffering from a hamstring injury. Even though she is making a recovery, nobody knows if they will be able to witness her back on the court this year or not.
On a recent Instagram live, Serena’s coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, gave an update about her possible return date. According to him, the 23-time Grand Slam champion is getting better day by day and can make a comeback on the court really soon.
“Serena’s doing better actually. She just texted me. She’s still recovering and is getting better and better. So, I mean, as expected. Sure, we will see her very soon,” said Mouratoglou on his Instagram live.
Mouratoglou revealed that Serena just texted her about her current situation. As a result, he seems confident that fans can soon see her on the court again.
Patrick Mouratoglou says that she will talk to Serena Williams about her future soon
Mouratoglou highlighted that she will soon catch up with Serena and discuss about her future. Williams will turn 40 this month and in such a situation, it will be intriguing to see how long she will be able to play the sport.

“I’ll see her very soon and we have to discuss about the future which we didn’t because one thing at a time. First goal, first of all is to digest that she was not able to play this US Open– which is tough and then get back in form and then, talk about the future,” added the coach.
Serena Williams hasn’t won a single title this year. However, fans still back her and believe that she will make a phenomenal comeback on the court. Will she be able to lift yet another Grand Slam title before hanging her tennis racquets?
