Serena Williams is teaching her daughter how to celebrate her wins.
On Friday, April 4, the Wyn Beauty founder, 43, shared a sweet video on her Instagram of her with her 18-month-old daughter Adira, as the little one practiced identifying colors. Williams, who shares her children with husband Alexis Ohanian, 41, can be seen in the video speaking fluent French to her daughter and guiding her on which color goes next.
As soon as Adira correctly identifies the color, Williams prompts her to do her signature “Serena, Come On!” tennis cheer. The toddler adorably follows, holding and shaking her little fist.
“Teaching @adiraohanian the ‘Serena, Come On.’ What do you think? #Momlife #tennis,” she wrote in the caption.
The couple is also the proud parents of 6-year-old daughter Olympia. They welcomed her in September 2017, before expanding their family five years later when Williams gave birth to their younger daughter in August 2023.
Williams, who stepped away from tennis in September 2022, has previously been open about her struggles with motherhood. Despite the ups and downs in her journey, she also recognizes the joy in such a significant life change.
“I’ve been so focused on my career my whole life, but when I had a family and got married, I realized that there’s so much more to life. And that was great,” she told PEOPLE in January 2021.

The retired tennis pro recently teamed up with her daughters to collaborate on a campaign for the children’s clothing brand Janie & Jack. Williams and her girls can be seen posing together in matching pink outfits.
“Having my girls in the campaign was only right because this collection is all about family,” Williams told PEOPLE. “Olympia had so much fun expressing her style, and Adira, even at her young age, loved being part of it in her own way. They were naturals.”
For the mom of two, creating the collection wasn’t only a way for her to bond with her daughters but also an opportunity to create joy in other families.
“It’s really special to create something that families can share and make memories in,” she said. “Fashion is a way to express joy, and I love that this collection brings that to life.”
