Ronaldo, Messi stir up the transfer market

The summer transfer window is heating up as superstars like Ronaldo, Messi, De Bruyne, Salah and Sane are about to enter the free agency period.

Ronaldo’s contract with Al Nassr is about to expire.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Kevin De Bruyne, and Lionel Messi… are prominent names whose contracts will expire on June 30, and within 100 days, they will have the right to negotiate freely with clubs without any team having to pay a transfer fee.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays for Al Nassr, has reached a verbal agreement to extend his contract with the Saudi Arabian club, with a salary of up to 183 million euros per season, equivalent to 550,000 euros per day. However, if the agreement is not signed, Ronaldo will officially become a free agent on July 1. Al Nassr hopes to sign a new contract with CR7 by the end of May to keep him until 2027.

Equally interesting is the case of Lionel Messi. Although his contract with Inter Miami does not expire until the end of 2025, there are reports that Messi could leave MLS if he receives attractive offers from European clubs. This opens up the possibility that Messi could return to play in Europe before his contract expires.

Alongside big names like Ronaldo and Neymar, Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is also out of contract on June 30 and could move to a new club. De Bruyne’s agent revealed that his potential destination could be San Diego FC, a club that recently joined Major League Soccer.

Salah’s contract with Liverpool will expire this summer.

Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s bright star, is in a similar situation. Liverpool have not offered the Egyptian striker a contract extension. However, Salah recently received a huge offer from Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal with a salary of up to 160 million euros for two seasons.

Finally, Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane is facing a dilemma. Although he wants to stay at the Bavarian club, Bayern Munich may not renew his contract, in order to save money to recruit new stars.

This summer is sure to be a busy transfer window, with a host of big names entering the free agency period and potentially joining big clubs. The market will be exciting as names like Ronaldo, Messi, De Bruyne, Salah and Sane become hot commodities, awaiting attractive offers from teams around the world.

Cristiano Ronaldo did not hide his tension during Portugal’s important match against Denmark in the early morning of March 24, but insisted the team was not facing a “life or death situation”.
