Ronaldo de Lima: ‘I’m better than Ronaldo but not as good as Messi’

The former Brazilian player made an interesting comparison between himself and current football stars, including Ronaldo and Messi.

In the latest interview on Romario TV, “alien” Ronaldo de Lima shared some very interesting things when he said that he is better than Cristiano Ronaldo but not as good as Lionel Messi.

Specifically, in a quick interview, the interviewer put Ronaldo de Lima on the scale with players Thierry Henry, Erling Haaland, Robert Lewandowski, Adriano and Cristiano Ronaldo. Before the 5 names mentioned above, the player nicknamed “the alien” did not hesitate to say that he was the better person. However, when the interviewer gave the 6th name, Lionel Messi, Ronaldo de Lima thought for a while and then chose “Messi”.

Ronaldo de Lima has been named FIFA World Player of the Year three times in 1996, 1997 and 2002. The 48-year-old won two World Cups in 1994 and 2002 with the Brazilian national team. However, despite a string of serious knee injuries, the star’s career has been marred by a string of setbacks, but he has still made an impression playing for Barca and Real Madrid.

This is not the first time that Ronaldo has rated Messi as the better player. In a March 2024 conversation with Daily Mail, “alien” Ronaldo Nazario De Lima (Ro Fat) was asked to point out between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who is the greatest player of all time.

The former Brazilian striker eventually chose Argentine superstar Lionel Messi, who currently plays for MLS side Inter Miami. In addition, in an interview with Goal in September 2024, he included himself and four other attackers in the squad, namely Messi, Ronaldinho, Diego Maradona and Pele.
