Amanda Anisimova responds to heckler body-shaming her

Amanda Anisimovareplied to a fan who had the audacity to body-shame the American tennis star. Anisimova, 21, received a reply to her Instagram Story, where one person decided to mock the American’s upper body frame.“The most unathletic body ever!Narrow shoulders and giant boobs,”the message Anisimova received read. Anisimova screenshotted that message and responded:“I don’t know what to think? Lol. The amount of people who comment on my body every day on social media, will never understand what the hyper fixation is about. But enjoy your life, I’ll go enjoy mine. Thanks for all the input.”

For Anisimova, it was her fourth consecutive defeat as the American hasn’t won a match since winning her Dubai first-round match in mid-February. In late April, Anisimova revealed she has been dealing with some personal issues.

“My tennis has been a struggle this year due to personal reasons and my team who has been there for me Rob, Hleb, and Andis want the best for me, and have shown how much they care. I’m very fortunate to have them in my life and tennis through the ups and downs,” Anisimova said.

In January, Anisimova suffered first-round exits at the Adelaide International 1 and Australian Open, while she reached the round-of-16 at the Adelaide International 2. Since January, Anisimova has had three first-round exits and one round-of-16 appearance.

Last year, Anisimova won the Melbourne Summer Set 2 and had more notable results in the first half of the 2022 season. But since the second part of the 2022 season, Anisimova has been struggling with her game.
