NFL star Patrick Mahomes has put his history-making paycheck to very good use—by surprising his mother, Randi Martin, with a brand-new house.
The 29-year-old Kansas City Chiefs quarterback teamed up with his wife, Brittany, and his brother Jackson to pull off the very generous surprise: an $825,000 newly constructed home in Texas.
Martin, 52, took to Instagram to reveal her shock and awe over the heartfelt gift, thanking her sons and her daughter-in-law for “this incredible blessing,” while sharing several images of herself posing outside the four-bedroom abode.
“Home is where the heart is—and my heart is full! Beyond grateful for my amazing family and my grandbabies for this incredible blessing,” she wrote.
“Being a Mom and Grandi is the greatest joy of my life, and I’m so thankful for the love that surrounds me every day. Here’s to new memories, laughter, and love in this beautiful new home!”

In one of the photos, Martin can be seen standing outside her new front door, posing with the keys in her hands—while the other image captures a full view of the property, as well as the perfectly manicured lawn that surrounds the front path to the door.
The home, which was completed only this year, has fresh flower beds lining the exterior front wall, while two newly planted trees line the path to the front door from the road.
Jackson, 24, who works primarily as a social media influencer, chimed in in the comments section of the post to write, “Love you momma.”
Property records indicate that the home, which was listed in February, is pending sale. However, the land on which the newly dwelling sits was purchased in 2023.
The new home boasts a formal dining room, a butler’s pantry, and a primary suite with a spa bathroom complete with a floating tub.
Martin later took to her Instagram Stories to share more details about the big reveal, dubbing it the “surprise of my life.”
Although Mahomes lives primarily in Belton, MO, where he, Brittany, and their three children reside in a custom-built megamansion on a staggering 8 acres, Martin hails from Texas, where she raised her two sons.
Last year, the mother of two, who learned she was pregnant with her first child when she was 20, opened up about becoming a mother at such a young age.
“Patrick is my first child, and I grew up with him basically,” she explained to People magazine. “I had him at a young age, and I don’t go out saying that’s the best thing to do, but it was the best thing for me just because it made me grow up.
“Sometimes, I look back and I’m like, ‘Where would I be if I didn’t have him?’ Because I wasn’t going down a bad road, I just wasn’t going on a road,” she said.

Today, Martin dubs herself the “QB producer” on her website, a nod to Mahomes, who has quickly risen to become one of the most successful players in recent NFL history, delivering three Super Bowl championships.
Mahomes, who was selected by the Chiefs in 2017, brought the team to its first Super Bowl appearance in 50 years in the 2019 season, claiming a win against the San Francisco 49ers. Kansas City has since won the Super Bowl twice more with Mahomes.
And the three-time Super Bowl MVP was richly rewarded, signing a 10-year contract extension in 2020 reported to be worth over $500 million.
The three-time Super Bowl champ has some swanky real estate as well—from a penthouse in Kansas City to a mansion in Texas.
In 2019, he picked up a three-bedroom, midcentury modern abode that he gutted to fit a massive shoe closet. Set on an acre, the suburban abode features a backyard pool, a wet bar, a wine room, and a gym.
In 2023, he and Brittany placed their modest abode on the market for $2.9 million. They sold it later in the year for an undisclosed price.
While he let go of one of his homes in Kansas City, MO, Mahomes still owns his two-bedroom penthouse there from his bachelor days. He picked up the place in 2018 and attempted to sell it in 2019 for $485,000. The 1,800-square-foot unit comes with a roof deck.
The Texas native also owns an off-season mansion in Westlake, TX. The four-bedroom, 7,800-square-foot estate on a half-acre lot comes with lots of baller perks: a wine room, a family room with a gas fireplace, and an outdoor space with a gas fireplace, grill grotto, lounging area with a fire pit, large pool, tan deck, and spa.
Mahomes seems to be expanding his empire. He also purchased 8 acres of land in Belton, MO, which appears to be the site of a future megamansion.
