OKC Thunder Rookie Chet Holmgren Turns Heads with Audi RS 7 Boasting 22-Inch Wheels

Chet Holmgren is among the most promising NBA rookies of the past several seasons. His physique is distinctive, and he possesses extraordinary offensive and defensive prowess. Additionally, he is 7’1 (2.16 m) in height and was selected second overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2022 NBA draft.

Holmgren was, with good cause, the highest draft selection ever selected from Gonzaga, surpassing even Kevin McHale. During his début with the Thunder in Summer League, he exhibited diligence by accumulating seven rebounds, 23 points, and four assists in a 98-77 victory over the Utah Jazz.

In August, he tragically sustained a severe foot injury during a Pro-am game; he will be sidelined for the duration of the 2022-23 NBA season.

He posted three images to Instagram earlier this week of what appears to be a brand-new Audi RS 7, which suggests that he is in a good mood. What criteria are used to determine whether the item is an RS 7? Initially, we suspected it was the e-tron GT, but the dashboard design swiftly disproved that notion.

Moreover, the vehicle features frameless doors, which, when combined with its low ride height, leads one to the only logical conclusion: the A7 lineup from the manufacturer. Upon closer inspection of the side skirt cut-out and flat-bottom Alcantara steering wheel, it is indisputable that this is the most expensive RS 7 trim level, priced at a minimum of $120,900 via Audi USA.

It’s difficult to determine whether Holmgren’s Audi is adorned in Daytona Gray Pearl or Nardo Grey from these images. Additionally, we observed that it has a pair of 22-inch polished black five V-spoke wheels, and based on the dark accents around the door pillars, it appears to be equipped with the Black Optic package from the manufacturer.

In terms of performance, the twin turbocharged V8 engine of the RS 7 generates 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque, which is sufficient to accelerate the vehicle from 0 to 60 mph (97 kph) in 3.5 seconds.
