Not just because it costs 2 million euros, the Rimac Nevera electric supercar astounds.

The actual production version of the C_Two electric concept car has a more catchy name, inspired by a storm in the Mediterranean region. Croatian supercar company Rimac Automobili introduced the C_Two in concept form more than 3 years ago, and now it’s time for the actual production version of this electric supercar to be unveiled.

Named after a storm in the Mediterranean region, Nevera really causes shock when it owns a system of 4 electric motors, for a total capacity of up to 1,914 hp (1,408 kW) and 2,360 Nm of torque. 1,741 lb-ft).

With that power, plus a drag coefficient of only 0.30, this 2-seater supercar is introduced to be capable of accelerating from 0 to 96 km/h in just 1.85 seconds and to 100 km/h in 1, 97 seconds. These parameters are equivalent to the Bugatti Chiron supercar with the W16 engine.

The body of the car is designed with a super car shape – thin, pointed nose, low ground clearance. The bodywork is also designed to have high cooling efficiency for the engine and brake system.

This electric supercar is introduced to take only 9.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 300 km / h and has a maximum speed of 412 km / h.

This is the second product of Rimac Automobili since the company was founded in 2009 by a young man then only 23 years old. Rimac equips Nevera with a terrible battery pack – 120 kWh, enough for the car to run 550 km after each charge, according to WLTP test track standards.

When the battery runs out, Nevera only needs 22 minutes to charge the battery from 0 to 80% with the 500 kW fast charging system. Rimac has self-developed the battery pack for this electric supercar, which is the battery that is attached to the vehicle, which increases the stiffness of the carbon fiber frame by 37%. The car has a weight of 2,150 kg, distributed front / rear in the ratio 48/52.

Because the car has high performance, Rimac also pays great attention to the braking system. Accordingly, equipped with Brembo carbon ceramic disc brakes with a diameter of 390 mm, going with 6-piston brake calipers.

Nevera is touted as having the most efficient brake energy regenerative system available today, utilizing brake force to charge the battery pack.

With a limited number of only 150 pieces, Rimac Nevera has a selling price of up to 2 million euros (over 2.4 million USD). Each one is signed by founder and CEO Mate Rimac.

This electric supercar includes versions: GT, Signature, Timeless, and a Bespoke version with more personalized optional equipment.
