Ahead of the World Cup, Adidas has unveiled the new AI Rihla match-inspired football boot collection, featuring vibrant designs for the X Speedportal, Predator, and Copa Sense. Named “Adidas Al Rihla,” after the official match ball, the collection aims to capture the spirit of the tournament.
The term “Al Rihla” translates to “journey” in Arabic, reflecting inspiration drawn from Qatar’s architecture, iconic boats, and national flag. This year’s World Cup is notable for being held in winter, making it a unique journey for players and fans alike.
Among the highlights is the updated version of the Adidas X Speedportal, which has quickly become a fan favorite. The boots sport a striking combination of light blue and multi-colored 3 Stripes. Notably, the Three Stripes design diverges from the traditional placement on the outside of the foot, instead running from the center forward, giving the boots a fresh and futuristic aesthetic. This innovative design is sure to turn heads on the pitch as players showcase their skills during the tournament.
