Lionel Messi’s amusing trick shots enthrall football fans all around the world. Away from the bustle of people and the glare of television cameras, the Argentine great and his Inter Miami teammates gave a performance that will never be forgotten on Tuesday. No box score will display this.
They made the aspirations of twenty-three gravely ill youngsters from the United States and other countries come true. They wanted to meet Messi, the Inter Miami team’s captain.
Families from far-off areas like Canada and Israel made the trip to Chase Stadium. In their field-level suite, they were treated to special presents, such as a jersey signed by the squad and personalized with their name, a delicious meal and drink, and a variety of other team memorabilia.
They were then granted special access to see Inter Miami’s practice in private. They had the chance to meet and talk with players like Julian Gressel, Drake Callender, Jordi Alba, Luis Suarez, Messi, and Benjamín Cremaschi after the practice session.
“Everyone imagines good things when they go to sleep every night,” said defendant Marcelo Weigandt. We are overjoyed to have contributed to making these kids’ aspirations come true and helping them through a trying time.
“It was amazing to realize their dreams, connect with their heroes, and make them smile,” said midfielder Yannick Bright. That makes us very very happy.
To make the event a reality, Inter Miami worked with Make-A-Wish and team sponsors Royal Caribbean and Fanatics. Families and their kids had a great time on the opulent cruise ship Icon of the Seas on Saturday. Enjoy a thrilling presentation of The Wizard of Oz, plunge into the pleasure of seven dazzling pools, and experience the excitement of six thrilling water slides. Fanatics delivered exclusive items to them.
Jorge Mas, Inter Miami’s managing owner, said, “The idea that we should pursue our dreams with unwavering confidence while supporting our fans and community in achieving theirs is central to Inter Miami’s ‘Freedom to Dream’ philosophy.” “Working together with our prestigious partner Royal Caribbean and Make-A-Wish to realize these amazing kids’ dreams exemplifies how football is more than just a game; it brings people together, spreads happiness, and inspires hope.” Through programs like these, we hope to capture the magic of Inter Miami and use it to uplift our community and create life-changing experiences.
Royal Caribbean’s president and CEO, Michael Bayley, said:
Imagine the delight of giving kids and their families life-altering, unforgettable experiences. Learn about the core of Royal Caribbean’s Wishes at Sea initiative and our long-standing partnership with Make-A-Wish. The ideal trifecta that makes everything come together smoothly is working together with our partners at Inter Miami CF to accomplish that aim. This is a good example of the amazing potential that results from teamwork and a shared love of families and the community.
