Rafael Nadal and his wife Mery ‘Xisca’ Perelló were spotted out and about with their new baby for the first time since it was revealed that the couple had welcomed their first child together.
The Spanish tennis star, 36, and his project manager wife, 34, took turns carrying their little one, whose name is currently unknown, as they arrived at the tennis practice courts in Palma de Mallorca on Tuesday.
Rafa’s wife gave birth to a baby boy at a private clinic in Mallorca’s capital Palma in early October, a Spanish media outlet reported at the time.
The couple appear to be adjusting to parenthood as they enjoyed an outing with their son in the Spanish sunshine before Rafa headed off to train at a local pitch.

The tennis champion, who was pictured holding the baby in his arms as he walked, wore a pair of blue Nike shorts with a white T-shirt and a pair of black trainers.
He later put on a blue sports shirt and a pair of white shorts.
Meanwhile, Xisca, who works as the director of Rafa’s foundation, exuded daytime elegance in a flowing leopard-print wrap dress, which she paired with a pair of chunky white sneakers.
Xisca, who confirmed her pregnancy in June this year, wore her dark curls up in a ponytail and shielded her eyes from the sun’s rays with a pair of large sunglasses.
As Rafael entered the court, Xisca was seen meeting with another woman, whose identity is unknown, to go for a walk.

Her public appearance comes weeks after it was reported that Xisca had given birth, a source told Diario de Mallorca: ‘Both the mother and her baby, born in the 37th week of pregnancy, are doing well.
‘The birth took place in a private clinic on the island where Mery had to remain under observation and on absolute rest for the last few weeks.’

In September, Spanish tabloid Hola! reported that the couple of 17 years were expecting a child, having first broken the news of Mery’s pregnancy in June after weeks of speculation.
Rafa later confirmed the news that his wife was pregnant at a press conference in Mallorca later that week.
Rafael told reporters: “If all goes well, I will be a father.”
“I don’t usually talk about my private life. We live a quieter life with a lower profile. I don’t expect my life to change much because of it.”
Change: He later changed into a blue sports shirt with a pair of white shorts.
Following the news, fans speculated that the couple might name their son Sebastia, Sebastian in English, as it is the name of Rafael’s father and great-grandfather.
Rafa and Xisca were together for 14 years before tying the knot in October 2019 at a British-owned fortress in Mallorca.
The health of former insurance worker Mery was the focus of Spanish media attention over the summer, which intensified after Nadal withdrew from the Laver Cup for “personal reasons” after helping the tennis world bid farewell to retired star Roger Federer.
At the end of August it was revealed that she had been admitted to a private clinic in Palma, the capital of Mallorca, when she was 31 weeks pregnant. According to reports at the time, doctors had decided to monitor her as a precautionary measure.
In early June, Spanish tabloids reported that Mery was pregnant with her first baby, according to Hola! magazine.
There was intense speculation over whether Rafael’s childhood sweetheart was pregnant after she started wearing baggier clothes and donned a face mask at the recent Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid.
Mery left a job in insurance to become project director for the Rafael Nadal Foundation, the charity she founded more than ten years ago.

She is known for being an incredibly private person. The estate the Spanish couple chose to tie the knot at, La Fortaleza, overlooking Pollensa Bay in the northeast of Mallorca, was where Real Madrid star Gareth Bale married Emma Rhys-Jones in June 2019 as part of a three-day celebration.
The couple were married by priest Tomeu Catala in front of 350 guests at the impressive fortress, owned by Conservative Party donor Lord Lupton.
Juan Carlos I, King of Spain from 1975 to 2014, was among those attending the wedding, as he is a long-time friend of the tennis ace.
A source said: ‘The birth took place in a private clinic on the island where Mery had to remain under observation and absolute rest in recent weeks.’

Tongues wagging: There was intense speculation that Rafael’s childhood sweetheart was pregnant after she started wearing baggier clothes and donned a face mask at the recent Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid.
The Fortress is a sought-after destination for A-listers and is also where the acclaimed BBC thriller The Night Manager, starring Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie and Olivia Colman, was filmed.
Overlooking Pollensa Bay in the north-east of Mallorca, La Fortaleza was bought by Lord Lupton in 2011 for £30m, despite the original asking price of £75m.
Rafael revealed in January 2019 that he was engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Mery, after a 14-year relationship.
Time to go home: Xisca was later seen putting her stroller in the trunk of the car.
Doting mom: Xisca cradled her little one in her arms before later putting him to bed in a stroller.
Walking: Xisca and the other woman opted for long, flowing dresses for their outing.
Hello!’s sister publication revealed that the Spanish athlete proposed to Mery in May 2018 during a romantic trip to Rome.
However, the couple reportedly decided to keep the happy news private for the first eight months of their engagement.
Rafael has not hidden his desire to have children so far, saying that he is a “family man” and that he hopes to have his own offspring in the not too distant future.
But the dedicated sportsman admitted that his tennis career had made it difficult for him to think about starting a family in the past.
He said: ‘I would love to have children, boys, girls… I am a person who loves children and I am a family man. But I also tell you that the reality is that the years go by, I would like to start doing all this when my sporting life determines it.’
