Eva Longoria Bastón put work commitments to one side on Sunday afternoon while visiting a picturesque Spanish beach with young son Santiago.
The Latina star showed off her bronzed physique in a black studded ʙικιɴι as she made the most of soaring summer temperatures in Marbella.
Longoria, 48, looked stunning as she mingled with fellow holiday-makers on the sand, where she was seen walking hand-in-hand with her Santiago, five, her only child with husband José Bastón.
The Desperate Housewives star appeared to be taking a well-earned break on the Spanish coast after fulfilling her ambᴀssadorial commitments for yearly fundraiser the Global Gift Gala.
The event, which raises money for impoverished women and children all over the world, took place on the Costa Del Sol in July.
As always, charity ambᴀssador Longoria served as co-chair at the fundraiser – one of several philanthropic endeavors undertaken by the actress.
The Global Gift Foundation is a non-profit organisation that aims to create a positive impact on the lives of children, women and families who are in need.
It was founded in 2013 by Spanish actress, businesswoman and philanthropist, Maria Bravo.
Eva runs a self-named project for the organisation, which sets out to improve social inclusion for women and children of Latino origin who suffer economic and social inequalities because of their Sєx and ethnic origin.
According to its website, the mission of her foundation is to ‘help Latinas build better futures for themselves and their families through education and entrepreneurship.’
Enjoying an extended break in Spain, the actress cradled her young son – who wore his long hair in a loose ponytail – as they relaxed in the shade.
With temperatures still high across mainland Europe, she wore flip-flops while making her way across the scorching beach, while shielding her eyes behind a pair of heavily tinted sunglᴀsses.
The scattering of fellow holiday-makers appeared oblivious to the American star, who was seen marching past with her son as they reclined in sun-loungers.
The outing comes after Longoria stated that Desperate Housewives would be ‘cancelled’ if the dark-comedy were to be on screens in the modern day.
Longoria played conniving but loveable supermodel Gabrielle Solis on the ABC television series which ran from 2004 to 2012, and for which she received Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.
Storylines and behind-the-scenes snippets left jaws dropping, including Gabrielle’s statutory rape of her 17-year-old gardener John Rowland (played by Jesse Metcalfe), a lack of diversity and showrunner Marc Cherry’s spat with cast members.
In light of some of the more shocking elements of the show, Eva conceded that things may not hit screens and could even be cancelled.
She told Entertainment Tonight: ‘I don’t know if we could do the show today. I think we’d get cancelled. ‘I mean, not cancelled on TV but like cancelled in culture because it was so groundbreaking…
‘We said and did so many things that were shocking at the time,’
She recently discussed the prospect of a reboot, to which she said: ‘I’d be the first one to sign up. I’d probably be the only one.’
Longoria sH๏τ to fame through her portrayal of Isabella Braña on the CBS daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless from 2001 to 2003.
