Inter Miami has finally confirmed the date for Lionel Messi’s unveiling in front of the club’s fans.
The Argentine football superstar, who became a free agent at the end of June, is set to be presented as a new Inter Miami player on July 16 at 8 pm ET.
The club has described the event as a ‘major unveiling’ but has not officially mentioned Messi’s name in their communication to reporters.
According to the Daily Mail, Messi’s former Barcelona teammates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alaba will also be presented alongside him as the club’s new signings.
After the unveiling, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner is expected to make his debut for Inter Miami against Cruz Azul on July 21 in their opening game of the inaugural Leagues Cup.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of these football superstars to the MLS side.
