Japan’s biggest custom car show is underway in Tokoy as hundreds of manufacturers from around the world gather to show off the best and most bizarre way people can modify their vehicles.

More than 300,000 people are expected to attend the three-day festival of all things motoring, as hundreds of the biggest car brands and parts suppliers show off their wares.

One of this year’s trends seems to be covering cars in crystals, with one Lamborghini SpA Murcielago showing up decked out in 600,000 Swarovski gems, and a Mercedes SL600 given the same treatment.

Another eye-catching vehicle is the Pandarghini, a Lamborghini painted black and white with a panda stamped on the bonnet, also using precious stones.
