Vinicius Jr. Promises Maracanã He’ll Be Back in Flamengo Top After Heartwarming Reception

Vinicius Jr., the young Brazilian Real Madrid player, promised the Maracanã stadium that he will return to wear Flamengo’s jersey after receiving a heartwarming reception from the fans.

In the friendly match between Brazil and Chile on Friday night, Vinicius Jr. had an impressive performance, scoring the opening goal for the home team. But what moved him the most was the enthusiastic support from the fans at the Maracanã stadium, where he used to play for Flamengo before joining Real Madrid.

“I promise you that I will come back here one day to play for Flamengo. We will meet again here!” Vinicius said after the match.

Vinicius joined Flamengo’s academy when he was 10 years old and played 3 years for the club’s youth team before moving to Real Madrid in 2017. Although he was only at Flamengo for a short time, he still maintains a close relationship with the club and its fans.

Vinicius’ promise to return to Flamengo after finishing his career in Europe will surely excite the club’s fans. They hope that one day they will get to witness their childhood idol wearing the beloved red and black jersey again at the Maracanã stadium.
